When you need to cover a tattoo, you can follow these steps. To complete this How-To you will need: Concealer Concealer brush Setting powder Cotton balls Cotton swabs (optional) Step 1: Find a thick concealer Use two shades of concealer — one two shades lighter than your skin tone and the other the same shade as your skin tone. Step 2: Clean the area Clean and dry the tattooed skin before applying concealer. Step 3: Brush on concealer Brush on the lighter concealer with a concealer brush, covering only the ink. Tip: Use a cotton swab if you don’t have a concealer brush. Step 4: Apply Apply the darker shade the same way you applied the lighter shade, but gently blend it over the outside edges of the tattoo. Step 5: Set Set the concealer with a loose powder by dabbing a small amount onto the area with a cotton ball. You’re covered — at least for the next few hours. @MrMarlboroman17 You can try Dermablend makeup. It’s supposed to cover up stuff really well like tattoos and scars. It lasts for days, and I’m pretty sure it’s waterproof.

Reasons why people may opt to cover a tattoo..WORK !!! It various work places exposed body art is not allowed, including offices, medical centers, schools, etc. I have friends that have to cover up because they work in these places and exposed body art is not allowed, its just like piercings are not always allowed.

I have a girl friend, and I love her to death! I’m in love, but I got a tattoo last year, and her parents are to damn strict.

I know shes the one, and I just need to hide it all day, and we’re gonna be going on a boat, so how do I make it last all day, and make it water proof?
