@liquidneedle the brand of ink you use doesnt matter,if you have good machines and good skills you can produce quality work………check out brandon bond(he uses spaulding and rogers ink and i always thought it was garbage)

@MrGuerrero2000 um watch them set up(this goes for the shop as well, there are just as many scratchers in shops)make them show you and explain everything……if they have a problem answering questions and showing you fisthand then they are probably a waste of time

@Ozma13 Most artists who do it, from what i hear, consider it fine to use because each time you roll on the speed stick, anything making meaningful contact pulls away.

oh no… carpet flooring??? Bacteria heaven

I think the speed stick is a great idea…but it would be better if he didn’t use it directly on the person, maybe scrape some off the top with some disposible spatula then apply that to the skin…meybe.

Sweet then go get tattooed by this douche bag. If you think this guy is one of hte best out there, I reccomend getting your eyes checked, and doing a thourough search online of some quality tattoo artists. Guy aitchison, nick baxter, brandon bond, josh carlton…. the list goes on, I promise this guy blows compared to world class tattooers like those.

@MrGuerrero2000 Easy buddy, look up blood borne pathogen training, new equip is just the start.

For example, if you after working on somoene for a bit, touch an ink bottle, without changing gloves, you just contaminated that whole bottle….. IT works like that for everything you touch, most scratchers, don’t bother learning this shit.

i think its more about natural talent some people are born for certain things. ive meet tattoo artist with 15yrs experience yada ya and they suck ass. if you asked them draw something it would look like a kindergarten piece. my wife is a licensed nyc tattoo artist shes been an artist for 17yrs only tattooing for 6 months and people who own local shops want her to tattoo them. shes done some amazing stuff. shes a natural i wish i had that gift.
